Irving Heritage House Welcomes Visitors for Public Tours of Historic Landmark

The Irving Heritage House, a charming prairie-style bungalow that stands as a testament to early 20th-century architecture, will open its doors to the public for guided tours on Sunday, August 6. Located at 303 O'Connor, this Recorded Texas Historic Landmark offers visitors a glimpse into the past and a chance to explore the rich history of the area.

Constructed in 1912 for the prominent Schulze family, the Irving Heritage House showcases the distinctive features of the prairie-style bungalow. Its cypress siding, low-hipped roof, large porch, and gabled dormer embody the architectural trends prevalent during that era. Tours of the Irving Heritage House are conducted on the first Sunday of each month, from March to December, and provide an opportunity to delve into the heritage of the region.
