K9 Ghost, a member of the Haltom City Police Department, recently assisted the Bedford Police Department in an ongoing investigation, resulting in a significant drug bust. During the operation, Ghost successfully located 907 grams of methamphetamines and 28 grams of THC wax. The discovery led to a First Degree felony charge, carrying a potential punishment of up to 99 years in prison.
"We would like to give an "atta boy" to Ghost and his handler as well as the work by Bedford Police Department to get this poison off the streets.", posted the Haltom City PD.
The collaboration between Ghost, his handler, and the Bedford Police Department exemplifies the effectiveness of partnerships among law enforcement agencies. By working together, they were able to remove a substantial amount of dangerous drugs from the streets, contributing to community safety.
