33-year-old Aaron Alexander Linwood of Dallas had been on trial for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child. He was originally charged on June 15, 2020.
On February 28, 2024, Linwood was found guilty, but for a lesser charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child Under 14. He was then sentenced to 23 years in prison.
The lead prosecutor was Klarissa Diaz and second chair was Ward Weber. The DA investigator was Raphael Vela and the DA victim advocate was Leslie Gutierrez.
The Dallas Police Department lead the investigation in the case.
