In the afternoon of March 12th, 2024, Irving Police officers raided an apartment on Pleasant Run in North Irving on suspicion of drug dealing. 48-year-old Arlando Voneric Gordon was arrested after officers found that he was in possession of Meth, Cocaine and Marijuana.
Because of the amount of drugs in his posssession and items collected at his apartment, it is evident that Gordon was a drug dealer and not just a consumer.
He was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine between 4 and 200 grams, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine between 4 and 200 grams, Possession of Marijuana less than 5 lbs and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
In his legal case, Gordon was represented by attorney Charles Uzo Maduka. The Dallas County District Attorney's Office decided to drop all charges except the Cocaine charge.
On September 19, 2024, Gordon agreed to a plea deal and plead guilty. He was sentenced to 5 years of probation.
On that same day, 29-year-old Ashley Heighton was arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine between 4 and 200 grams. Heighton also received a 5 year probation sentence after pleading guilty.
