National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) returns this November, inviting aspiring authors to take on the challenge of writing 50,000 words in 30 days. Since its inception in 1999, NaNoWriMo has inspired hundreds of thousands of participants worldwide to transform from teachers, mechanics, and parents into novelists by the end of the month.
To support local writers, West Irving Library will host NaNoWriMo "write-ins" for adults throughout November. Writers can check the Library's web calendar for updates on dates and times.
