Leah Marchelle ‘Marcy’ Thomas, 51, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018. She was born on February 28, 1967 to Virgil and Wanda Thomas.
Marcy was blessed with two lives. The Marcy, through 18 years of age, was a tomboy that loved cowboy boots, and playing tennis. She was involved in the social-service organization at her high school, called I-Teens and loved participating in the Youth Group at South MacArthur Church of Christ. After one semester at Texas Tech University, she had a car accident coming home for Christmas. The Marcy who survived was a special young lady that blessed everyone she met and made them feel like the most important person in the world. She smiled and laughed everyday, making others join in as she exclaimed, “Golly, Molly”, and “Bologna Mastroni”. If you stayed for any amount of time, she would beat you every time in a game of King Corners.
Marcy is survived by her parents, one sister Marisa Arnold of Brookland, AR, and two nephews Adam Moore and Hunter Arnold, as well as other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 24, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at Roller-Daniel funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
