Irving City Council to Adopt FY25 Budget; Public Hearing Scheduled for Sept 5

The Irving City Council is set to adopt the Fiscal Year 2024-25 (FY25) proposed budget on September 12, 2024. Public hearings on the budget and tax rate are scheduled for September 5 at 7 p.m. and September 9 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, located at 825 W. Irving Blvd.

The proposed FY25 budget maintains the current tax rate of $0.5891 per $100 taxable value. It aims to fund key city operations and maintenance projects while remaining structurally balanced. The budget will support essential services and programs enjoyed by Irving residents.
