Plans for the new Mustang Park Multi-Generational Recreation and Aquatics Center have taken a significant step forward. Preliminary design plans were shared with the public during an input meeting held on August 13. The state-of-the-art facility will offer a variety of features and amenities, including:
- Indoor basketball and pickleball courts
- A fitness center and studio
- An indoor running and walking track
- An indoor playground
- Rental rooms and event spaces
- Locker rooms and a sauna
- A dedicated area for senior citizens
- Indoor pools and water park features
The facility's engineering and design phase is ongoing, and the current plans are still subject to modification. The new Mustang Park Recreation and Aquatics Center is expected to open in early 2027. Meanwhile, the existing Mustang Park Recreation Center, located at 2223 Kinwest Parkway, will continue operating throughout the construction phase.
