In Irving, two teenagers were arrested separately on charges of possession of methamphetamine. On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, Irving Police Officers took 17-year-old Maria Salinas-Soto into custody. She was booked into the Irving Jail at 9:15 pm and faces charges of Possession of Controlled Substance PG1/1-B (Meth), with an amount exceeding 4 grams, classified as a 2nd degree felony. Additionally, Salinas-Soto was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On the same day, 17-year-old John Sosa was also booked into the Irving Jail at 9:42 pm. He is facing charges of Possession of Controlled Substance PG1/1-B (Meth), with an amount less than 1 gram, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sosa's bond has been set at $1,992.
