The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon (May 3) on Farm to Market Road 916 in Johnson County.
At around 3:00pm, firefighters from Rio Vista VFD, AMR, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, and DPS responded to the intersection of Farm to Market Road 916 and County Road 1208 west of Rio Vista. A semi truck and a vehicle were involved in the collision.
Paramedics arrived on scene to find the occupant of the vehicle deceased. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as a 52-year-old man from Rio Vista.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
