Denton County Sheriff Officers arrested 14 individuals attempting to purchase sexual favors for money in a recent operation aimed at suppressing prostitution in the community.
Among those arrested on charges of Solicitation of Prostitution, a State Jail Felony, was Jason Scott Collier, the Fire Chief of Highland Village. Collier also faces charges of resisting arrest.
Collier was promoted to Fire Chief in 2022 after serving as the Assistant Fire Chief. He has been with the Highland Village Fire Department since 2008.
