On Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at 9:24 p.m., Fort Worth PD officers responded to a reported shooting in the 6900 block of Blue Mound Rd. This occurred near the Saginaw 4th of July celebration.
During an altercation involving a large group, an unidentified suspect(s) displayed a firearm and began shooting. One victim was struck once and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect(s) remain outstanding. Gun Violence detectives are actively investigating the incident.
