On July 1, 2024, Irving Police officers responded to an assault in progress at the Camden Cimarron Apartments, located at 147 Cimarron Trail in Valley Ranch. The suspect, 26-year-old Morgan Reeves, assaulted a pregnant woman and intentionally damaged a vehicle. Reeves, who had multiple warrants for her arrest, was subsequently taken into custody.
Her outstanding warrants included charges for forgery, theft, and various traffic violations. The warrants were issued by the Nueces County Sheriff's Office in Corpus Christi, the Kleberg County Sheriff's Office in Kingsville, the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, the Dallas City Marshals Office, and the University Park Police Department.
