On Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 2:02 AM, Fort Worth Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash on westbound I20 near Campus Drive, close to Forest Hill. Officials reported that one of the drivers was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
Lanes of westbound I20 were closed for approximately four hours as officers conducted their investigation.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
