Hispanic Population in Texas Surges to 40.2%, Marking Significant Growth

During the DFW State of Hispanic Business Forum, Ethni Facts CEO Mark Lakusta highlighted significant growth within the Latino community. According to the latest U.S. Census data for Texas, released in June 2023, the state's total population grew by 2.7% to 30,029,572 between 2020 and 2022.

The Hispanic community experienced notable growth, now comprising 40.2% of the total population. This represents an increase from 11,669,901 to 12,068,549, or a 3.4% rise. This growth underscores the Hispanic community's substantial role in Texas' evolving demographic landscape.
