The body of 36-year-old Rusty Wayne Holcomb was discovered on the grounds of Dolores Huerta Elementary School, located in the 3300 block of W. Lone Avenue, on Friday morning, February 21st.
According to an email sent to parents by Assistant Principal Mary Helen Hill, the individual was not connected to the school campus. Authorities informed the school that the death was due to natural causes. School officials confirmed that there was no danger or threat to students, staff, or the campus.
The email to parents was sent out on Friday afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has identified the deceased. The cause of death has not been released.
