A 62-year-old woman was safely located after her vehicle crashed into a cyclone fence, a metal building, and a power substation Thursday morning.
On March 6, 2025, at approximately 8:20 a.m., the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) received a 9-1-1 call about a possible collision. Deputies arrived at the scene and found an abandoned vehicle that had crashed along the roadway.
After speaking with the woman’s family, deputies learned she had left home that morning to drive to work but never arrived. Concerned for her safety, multiple agencies joined the search effort, including Fort Worth PD’s Air One helicopter, the TCSO Drone Unit, Azle PD, and Search One Rescue’s K9 Team. TCSO Deputy Starrett also assisted on foot.
As the search continued, a family member located the woman at a local business. She was uninjured and safely reunited with her loved ones. Authorities thanked their partnering agencies for their assistance in the search.
