On Thursday, March 6, 2025, the Bell County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Group, Violent Crimes Apprehension Team, and Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from the Belton Police Department, executed a controlled substance search warrant at a residence on Guess Drive in Salado.
During the search, authorities seized over 21 grams of cocaine, nearly 10 ounces of marijuana, and 558 grams of THC vape cartridges. A stolen handgun was also recovered, along with several other firearms that are under investigation.
Two males, a 17-year-old and a juvenile, were taken into custody. The 17-year-old was booked into the Bell County Jail, while the juvenile was released to a parent. The Special Operations Group continues to investigate.
