On Wednesday, March 12th, at approximately 12:45 p.m., multiple agencies from Tarrant and Parker counties responded to a major accident on eastbound I-30 near Walsh Ranch Parkway. Upon arrival, first responders found a semi-truck and a vehicle engulfed in flames, with a total of five vehicles involved in the collision, according to Fort Worth Police Department.
Initial reports indicated there were no serious injuries; however, one individual, later identified as 85-year-old Mary Wright of Fort Worth, was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital. She succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
