PLANO, TX — A Plano Police Department officer and two civilians were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a traffic collision involving a marked patrol unit responding to a high-priority incident.
The crash occurred around 3:00 p.m. on July 8, 2025, at the intersection of East Spring Creek Parkway and Jupiter Road. According to police, the patrol vehicle had its emergency lights and siren activated when it was struck by another vehicle in the intersection.
Plano Fire Rescue transported all three individuals — the officer and two occupants of the civilian vehicle — to a local hospital. Their injuries were described as non-life threatening.
The Plano Police Department’s Traffic Unit is actively investigating the crash.
