In a shocking incident on Friday afternoon, Richardson Police responded to multiple distress calls reporting a shooting at a shopping center located in the 100 block of Inge Dr. The incident took place at approximately 3:25 p.m., leaving one male victim dead inside a vehicle.
According to preliminary information provided by authorities, it appears that the deceased male and several other individuals had gathered at the shopping center for a pre-arranged meeting. As the meeting unfolded, gunshots were exchanged inside the vehicle, resulting in the tragic loss of life.
Following the shooting, the suspect swiftly fled the scene and made a quick escape in an awaiting vehicle. Witnesses at the scene provided a description of the suspect vehicle as a black Acura sedan. However, no additional details regarding the suspect or the vehicle occupants have been released at this time.
The Richardson Police Department's detectives have taken charge of the investigation and are actively pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the suspect.
