Beginning at 3 a.m., Saturday, July 22, workers will begin paving the south lane of W. Pioneer Drive between O’Connor Road and Ada Street. Work is expected to last through noon Saturday. View the work area map.
Work has been planned to limit the inconvenience as much as possible to nearby residents and businesses. The current extreme temperatures require work to occur early in the morning when cooler for proper placement and curing. This segment is associated with the Pioneer Drainage Phase II Project.
Pioneer Drive is currently closed to all traffic from O’Connor Road to Britain Road for related work. Motorists should expect heavier traffic in the area and seek alternate routes.
