Calling All Irving Teens: Shape the Future of Lively Park and Aquatics Amenities

The City of Irving is inviting all Irving teenagers to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their local community spaces. The Lively Pool is set to be removed, but the city's youth will have the opportunity to influence the design and development of new amenity options at Lively Park, with planning scheduled to begin in summer 2023 and extend into 2024.

The city officials are keen on ensuring that the new amenities cater to the needs and preferences of the young population, and that's why they are encouraging Irving teens to participate actively in the decision-making process. All teenagers interested in contributing their ideas and insights can do so by emailing their contact information to PlayIrving@CityofIrving.org.

The City of Irving is currently conducting a feasibility study for Mustang Park and Senter Park as part of the city’s bold vision for Irving aquatics and community centers. The community engagement platform allows residents to share input that will help shape the future of aquatics and recreation in our community. Provide feedback via the survey, community forum and ideas wall by Aug. 15.
