On August 19, 2023, at around 3:35 PM, the Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 400 block of Palm Oak Drive in Southeast Dallas. Initial findings revealed that two adult females had been shot at the scene. Both victims were transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire for medical treatment.
One of the victims, identified as Tramaine Gulley, 39, did not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim remains in stable condition and is expected to recover.
Subsequent investigations led to the identification and arrest of a suspect, 31-year-old Angel Harris. Harris is facing charges of Aggravated Assault and Murder. Jail records indicate that Harris is charged with one count of Murder and one count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in a Domestic Violence.
