The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality accident involving a bicyclist on September 4, 2023..
Authorities say a vehicle struck a bicyclist riding along southbound I35E near the Loop 12 split during the overnight hours. The bicyclist was killed in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.
All lanes of southbound I35E were diverted to Loop 12 while DSO investigators worked the scene. Lanes were reopened around 4:35 am.
