On September 6, 2023, the Dallas Police Department Public Integrity Unit arrested Police Officer Nicholas Hernandez, badge number 12223, for Assault-Family Violence, a Class C Misdemeanor.
Officer Hernandez was off-duty at the time of the offense. He has been a part of the Department since July 2021 and is currently assigned to the Southeast Patrol division.
Officer Hernandez is now on administrative leave while an Internal Affairs administrative investigation is conducted.
