The Fort Worth Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in an unsolved homicide case that occurred two years ago near the 4500 block of Altamesa Blvd.
On September 11, 2021, authorities were alerted to a shooting incident at 4500 Altamesa Blvd. Responding officers discovered the lifeless body of Hamzah Faraj inside a silver Toyota, who had succumbed to gunshot wounds. The Fort Worth Police Department's Homicide Unit was immediately notified and arrived at the scene to commence their investigation.
Following a thorough examination of video footage and interviews with witnesses, investigators have reason to believe that the suspect vehicle involved in the crime is a gray 4-door Dodge truck.
In an effort to advance the ongoing investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice, the Fort Worth Police Homicide Unit is reaching out to the community for any information that may assist in identifying and locating the individuals responsible for this tragic incident.
