In the early morning of September 15, 2023, at approximately 04:13 am, emergency services in Fort Worth, including the Police Department, Fire Department, and MedStar EMS, swiftly responded to a significant traffic incident. The incident occurred at 5200 Boat Club Road, close to Overlake Drive.
Authorities report that the operator of a single vehicle lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a collision with a tree. Tragically, both the female driver and a young child who were occupants of the vehicle were declared deceased at the accident scene.
As of now, the identities of the deceased have not been disclosed.
Law enforcement is currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
