A Grapevine resident owes his life to the quick response of the city's first responders this summer. A woman dialed 9-1-1 in a frantic call for help when her husband suffered a cardiac event. Two of Grapevine PD's Emergency Communications Specialists, Elizabeth Pickett and Noelle Dorgan, played a crucial role in aiding the man's wife, enabling her to successfully perform CPR until paramedics arrived on the scene.
In situations like these, every second counts, and this incident serves as a poignant reminder of the profound impact that first responders can have on our community. Grapevine's dispatchers and fire personnel, along with the patient's wife, acted swiftly and decisively, ultimately saving a man's life.
