Dallas Police responded to a shooting call on the evening of October 20, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m. The incident occurred in the 13000 block of Esperanza Road.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Thomas Tycion Burns suffering from gunshot wounds, lying in the street. Burns succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another adult male victim was also found with gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
This investigation is ongoing and documented on case number 188067-2023.
