Mysterious Low-Frequency Noise Baffles Haslet Residents

Residents of Haslet, Texas, are reporting a puzzling phenomenon of loud, low-to-mid range frequency noise that has disrupted their daily lives. Haslet City Mayor Gary Hulsey confirmed that the city has received complaints about the unusual noise, described by some as a "siren," which is being heard intermittently throughout the day and night, often waking residents from their sleep.

The city has initiated an investigation into the source of the disturbance. Mayor Hulsey confirmed that the City of Haslet has been in contact with neighboring jurisdictions to rule out the possibility of "sirens" or "early warning" devices being activated or malfunctioning in the area.

Preliminary suspicions have centered on electric train locomotives as the potential cause of the noise. Recordings and complaints from concerned residents have been forwarded to BNSF Railway for further analysis and resolution.

Mayor Hulsey encouraged residents who continue to experience the noise or have additional complaints to reach out to ghulsey@haslet.org. These complaints will be collected and forwarded to BNSF Railway for their attention.
