Waco PD Officers responded to a fatal auto-pedestrian crash on I35 at 8:00 a.m. on November 7, 2023.
When officers arrived near the Northbound exit of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, they found one female who was in the roadway after she was hit by an 18-wheeler. The 28-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin has been notified. Part of I35 was shut down for three hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
