At approximately 3:45 pm on November 9, 2023, emergency services from Grapevine Fire/EMS and Police, along with the DFW Airport Department of Public Safety, rushed to the scene of a crash on the north side of DFW Airport.
Preliminary reports suggest that a vehicle traveling northbound on International Parkway, just north of the north toll exit, veered off the parkway and collided with a semi in a nearby parking lot.
Tragically, the driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. Authorities are exploring the possibility that a medical emergency may have led to the crash.
In response to the incident, lanes in the affected area were temporarily closed as Grapevine PD initiated an investigation. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
