Carrollton Police are actively investigating a domestic violence incident that occurred in the 4400 block of Tall Knight Lane. On Friday, November 17, at 7:48 a.m., CPD and Carrollton Fire Rescue responded to a call from a man who reported being stabbed by his wife. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Carrollton Fire Rescue for further treatment, and he is currently expected to survive.
In a related incident in the City of Lewisville, Lewisville Police Department officers responded to a separate 911 call reporting a vehicle driven into a lake near the 900 block of Hebron Parkway. The vehicle was occupied by one adult woman, later confirmed to be the wife of the stabbed man, and three children aged 8, 9, and 12.
All occupants of the vehicle have been transported to local hospitals. The adult woman is now in police custody, pending criminal charges. While the adult woman and two of the children are reportedly stable, one child remains in critical condition.
Family members have been notified and are cooperating with the ongoing police investigation. Authorities have confirmed that there is no active threat to the public. The Carrollton Police Department is continuing its efforts to gather information and fully investigate both incidents.
