On the morning of September 19, 2023, Irving Police Officers arrested 43-year-old Jose Pablo Iglesias in response to a reported theft. Upon arrival, officers observed signs indicating Iglesias was under the influence of a substance.
Iglesias faces multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance (cs pg 1/1-b <1g), failure to identify as a fugitive, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft. Additionally, it was discovered that Iglesias had an open warrant issued by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office for aggravated sexual assault.
In light of his illegal immigration status in the country, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has requested an immigration hold on Iglesias.
