The Irving Public Library is eagerly gearing up to participate in the NEA Big Read program in 2024. Librarians have taken the initiative to select five potential books for the community to engage with during the event.
The curated list includes:
- "Infinite Country" by Patricia Engel
- "Sitting Pretty" by Rebekah Taussig
- "The Bear" by Andrew Krivak
- "The Round House" by Louise Erdrich
- "The Namesake" by Jhumpa Lahiri
The community is invited to vote for the final selection!
IPL will choose the book with the most votes as the selection for the NEA Big Read in 2024. If there is a tie, IPL librarians will make the final selection.
