In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, there will be no residential trash, curbside recycling or brush/bulky collection on Monday, Jan. 15. For those residents affected, trash will be picked up on Thursday, Jan. 18, the regularly schedule second pickup day. Monday regular recycling, brush and bulky collection will resume Monday, Jan. 22.
In addition, the following facilities will be closed Monday, Jan. 15:
- City Hall
- Heritage Aquatic Center
- Hunter Ferrell Landfill
- Irving Arts Center
- Irving public libraries
- North Lake Natatorium
- Recreation centers
All city offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
