In response to the ongoing severe winter temperatures, the Heritage Senior Center, located at 200 Jefferson St., has announced the suspension of its meal services for Tuesday, Jan. 16. Furthermore, there will be no transportation services available on this day.
All recreation centers, including the Heritage Senior Center, will have adjusted operating hours, opening at noon and closing at 6 p.m., with the exception of Lee Park Recreation Center at 3000 Pamela Drive.
Despite the weather conditions, the public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 6 p.m. at Lee Park will proceed as planned. However, recognizing potential attendance challenges, an additional meeting will be organized at a later date for those who are unable to attend the originally scheduled meeting.
