On Friday, January 19, 2024, at approximately 12:27 a.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Blue Water Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male individual lying unresponsive in the parking lot, suffering from severe blunt trauma to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
Witness statements and evidence collected at the scene suggest that two vehicles approached the victim in the parking lot. Subsequently, three suspects exited the vehicles, engaged in verbal confrontation with the victim, pursued him, and proceeded to assault him with two large objects.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and detailed descriptions of the suspects or the vehicles involved remain unavailable. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased once positively confirmed, and next of kin have been notified. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
