Injured Baby Owl Rescued by Plano Public Safety Officers

In a heartwarming display of compassion and teamwork, Plano's public safety officers recently came to the aid of an injured baby owl. The owl was found injured, likely from an avian attack. As the officers assessed the owl's condition, a companion owl kept watch from a nearby tree.

The officers swiftly secured the injured owl and handed it over to animal control personnel. From there, the owl was transferred to a wildlife rehabilitation organization for treatment and recovery.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of these teams, the owl is now on the road to recovery and will soon be released back into the wild. This heartening example highlights the importance of community and collective action for the well-being of local wildlife.
