Traffic Stop in Irving Leads to Multiple Arrests for Drug Dealing and Stolen Identifications

On May 21, 2024, at approximately 2:01 a.m., an Irving Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 7900 block of Esters Blvd for a traffic violation. The vehicle pulled over at the Chevron gas station on Esters Blvd and Highway 114 in North Irving.

Inside the vehicle were two occupants: 41-year-old Gregory Gilbert Glover of Dallas and 35-year-old Roy Austin Lerma of Aubrey. During the stop, the officer discovered Glover had three misdemeanor warrants issued by the Dallas City Marshal's Office. Additionally, narcotics and stolen identifying information of five individuals were found in the vehicle.

Three additional Irving Police Officers arrived as backup, and both men were taken into custody. Glover was charged with Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information, Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG1 (>=4G<200G), and Tampering with Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair an Investigation. His bond was set at $300,000.

Lerma was charged with Possession of Marijuana and the three outstanding warrants. The next day, he was transferred to the Dallas County Jail, where his bond was set at $21,500.
