On Sunday, May 26th, at approximately 2:15 PM today, multiple agencies in Parker County were dispatched to a major accident on North Farm to Market Road 51 near Friendship Road, near Weatherford. The incident prompted the response of several ambulances from the Parker County Hospital District (PCHD) EMS and one medical helicopter.
Authorities have confirmed that the crash resulted in the deaths of a 29-year-old woman from Boyd identified as Kathryn Elizabeth Lain and a 66-year-old man from Springtown named Gregory Daniel Schilb. Additional injuries have been reported, but confirmation from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) is pending.
North FM 51 was closed for approximately three and a half hours while DPS Troopers conducted their investigation at the scene.
