A routine patrol in Hopkins County by a Cumby Police Officer led to the arrest of a wanted individual from Irving, TX. The officer was patrolling the westbound rest area on Interstate 30 when they observed a vehicle displaying a fake temporary license tag.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver, 37-year-old Cristina Henton-Marquez, was wanted by Irving Police on an outstanding warrant for Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Henton-Marquez was arrested and transported to the Hopkins County Jail, where she was booked on the warrant. She will be extradited to Dallas County.
