Storm Relief Resources in Irving

Following the severe weather and power outages that affected Irving residents and businesses on May 28, these organizations can offer help to those impacted by the storms.

SHELTER 

AMERICAN RED CROSS 

HOME/RENTERS POLICY 

  • Check with your Homeowner or Renter Insurance policy. Most can file a claim for loss of use if the household needs to stay in a hotel for a prolonged period due to power outage. 

HOTELS 

  • Holiday Inn – Las Colinas, 110 W John Carpenter Freeway, is offering discounted rates for those impacted by the outages ($109/night + tax).

      • Financial Assistance for insurance deductibles for homes or vehicles damaged by the storm (proof of damage required) ,and other immediate needs such as clothes/hygiene items etc.  
      • Gift cards to cover any immediate needs like clothes, hygiene items, food, etc.
