Irving Police responded to a call of shots fired at the Five Guys restaurant on Tuesday night, May 28, 2024.
Upon arrival, they found 18-year-old Jase Austin White of Irving, who had discharged a firearm. The situation was tense, with White threatening officers. However, the officers managed to control and diffuse the situation, preventing any injuries.
White was taken into custody without further incident and charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Discharge of a Firearm in Certain Municipalities, and Retaliation towards officers.
