Dallas Police Shoot Dogs After Early Morning Attack on Resident

On Saturday morning around 4:45 AM, Dallas Police responded to an animal attack in the 5100 block of Bexar Street in South Dallas. According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was bitten by two dogs. Dallas Fire Rescue arrived on the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

When officers met with the dogs' owner, the dogs attempted to attack one of the officers. The officer shot both dogs, resulting in their deaths. No officers were injured in the incident.
