Late Friday night, Dallas Fire Rescue and the Sheriff’s Office responded to a major accident involving a pedestrian on northbound I35E near Wycliff Avenue. Officials reported that a pedestrian attempted to cross the highway on foot and was fatally struck by a vehicle.
The driver remained at the scene, and no charges are expected.
Lanes of northbound I35E were closed while the Sheriff’s Office investigated the scene.
