On August 2, 2024, a Tarrant County jury found 29-year-old Alejandro Garcia of Fort Worth guilty of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Garcia was then sentenced to 66 years in prison and fined $24,000.
In 2018, the victim told her mother that Garcia had inappropriately touched her and began sexually abusing her when she was in the 2nd grade.
The Fort Worth Police Department investigated the case.
