On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 4:44 a.m., Fort Worth Police Officers responded to a shooting call near a homeless camp at E Vickery Blvd and S Riverside Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are currently in stable condition.
Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from a disturbance among several homeless individuals. The suspect involved in the incident remains at large, and no arrests have been made.
