Two Dead in Early Morning Shooting in North Fort Worth, Suspect at Large

At approximately 2:00 AM on Saturday, August 17th, Fort Worth Fire and Police, along with Medstar EMS, responded to a shooting at a home located in the 2400 block of Ross Avenue, just a few blocks away from the Stockyards in North Fort Worth. According to detectives, a verbal argument broke out between several individuals at the residence, during which one person pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots.

Two people were pronounced deceased at the scene. One of the victims was identified as 45-year-old Fermin Lucio Ramirez.

The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, and no arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation.
